![]() For the longest time I've preferred working in Paint Tool Sai for drawing, and once I started using Sai v2 it became my main program for pixel art too. No dithering brushes and it wasn't possible to make them by fiddling with the settings. For a while I just made the textures and just copy pasted them as I needed, but lately I wanted to see if it was possible to make dither brushes using the texures. Turns out you can! I made brushes of the 22 32 textures I regularly use when making my own tilesets and am sharing them here for others to use too. Two of the folders have instructions on how to install the textures for the two versions of Sai, and the remaining folder has the textures. There will be more textures added to this set either as they're suggested or as I add onto what I already use. IMPORTANT NOTE: To use the textures they have to be used with the regular brush in Sai, meaning that while the texture can be made crisp the edge of the brush still sadly has some fading to it. Input the system id and your license number and certificate download password - the. Check your system id from SAI2 (Other -> System ID in the top bar of the Sai2 program) and copy the number it gives you. It will warn you that you cannot save or something for lacking the license. ![]() The brushes aren't meant to be used as a slap on and done tool. The program does not have the old Sai shortcut icon either. ![]() It's more to have the pattern cover a large area then to go back and smooth it out as need be. ![]()
